aid for unhoused folks
Whether folks are seeking asylum or are experiencing homelessness in another way, we believe it's important to acknowledge that struggle and be neighborly.

Our food equity efforts allow us to provide necessary aid to folks who are housing insecure - a bag of groceries, a kit of warm or cold weather essentials, connection to social services, a few snacks at a Community Box.

Now, with the arrival of many families seeking asylum from Venezuela, we are in overdrive to provide support to all.

Our weekly Community Circle provides a hot meal and free group therapy to asylum seekers. The meals are shared with the Love Fridges as well, to provide a stronger sense of solidarity among our neighbors.

We will be packing and distributing cold weather essentials for individuals during the holiday season as well. Your support goes a very long way to building unity and stopping divisiveness in its tracks.

SCHEDULE A DONATION
DROP OFF
Due to volume of donations and our small size, we accept only what's on our wish list, and by appointment at our field office in Garfield Ridge.

PURCHASE GOODS OR DONATE FUNDS
You can purchase items from our Amazon wishlist or drop some funds for us to use on our PayPal or CashApp.

DON'T DROP OFF BAGS AT POLICE STATION
Dropping off big bags directly to the station creates tension between families and the space is too limited to hold that kind of volume.
