An Annual Community Gathering

Every year, we celebrate the rich, cultural tradition of Dia de Muertos, and of life itself. This event is lovingly created, and completely free for families to enjoy, with the intention to elevate culture as well as build community across our neighborhoods.

Help Us Spark Joy & Elevate Culture

We want folks to help us build the altar and park in spaces to hand out treats to the kids. This is meant to be a friendly space where joy radiates, life is celebrated and new friends are made.

The Tradition, the story

The Day of the Dead festival is one of the most important traditions in Mexican culture, a time to reflect and remember those who are no longer with us, our deceased. Come with us to Michoacán, Mexico, to experience it. Created by Juan Magana Lira for The Southwest Collective. English translation viewable here: https://rb.gy/fg4w4
